No turkey this season in MI, my first shutout in 6 years. I'll be hunting in PA next week. I almost got one Thursday afternoon, calling in a lonely gobbler from a long way off, but out 65 yards he did not like something & took off.
I just got the cost so far from the dealer; $1,898 of which less than 200 is for the tune-up parts & labor I added on; plugs, rotor, cap, & air filter. Just made my AAA insurance claim with my $500 deductible, so I expect them to pay $1,200 or so. Of course they may find something else wrong once they get on a hoist to look underneath, get it started & take a test drive.
Wow that was an expensive critter! Best of luck with the rest of your season. I too am working on a shutout this season.
