I read about soy based wire coverings, but this is 19 year old wiring, except for the plug wires. This was a big rodent, much bigger than a squirrel or rat. The thick plug wires were cleanly cut like with snips. I don't think it was a ground hog with the tail I saw. Also don't think it was a raccoon as the one I saw nearby was a very different animal. I know it wasn't an opossum. I almost took my shotgun out when I pounded on the hood & now wish I had and shot it. I park in this spot every spring turkey season and this is the 1st problem. Next year I'll have to try something, moth balls or look into critter ridder. I need to get it fixed & back in 3 days. I'm worrying.
