I just changed the junky expensive air ride suspension on my Town Care to A Monroe coil spring conversion kit. This included the progressive coil springs and new shocks.
When I took the old shocks off my car I could not believe how worn out they were. When my Town Car would hit a bump the car would bounce all over the road. I could fully collapse the old shock by hand once I got it out and it took forever to rebound.... And that was just laying on the ground.
Seriously improved the ride with the new springs and shocks.
I'd go to autozone and get you some shocks and spend a few minutes putting them on. You may be suprised at the difference it makes.
