Leaking window check your weep slots

The other night we got a heavy rain, and one of the small slide up windows started to leak. Found the weep slot at the bottom of the window was partially plugged up. We volunteer at a State park for the summer and had been out of town for the weekend, I'm sure glad we were back before it started raining. A light rain the weeper would drain the water ok but with a 3 in rain fail in 2 hours it couldn't drain quick enough.

You may want to check yours .

I had both my cab over windows leaking when ever it rained. Everyone said I had to replace the windows.

I thank God for this forum!!

A forum member posted to check the weep holes. Heck I didn't even know what a weep hole was! :B

I looked and sure enough my windows had them and both were plugged up with dirt and bugs. Cleaned them out and no more leaks. Checking the weep holes is part of my routine maintenance on ALL the windows now.
