Not an RVing issue but a real life issue. If they are staying in/near the trailer when she is not there I would do nothing other than keep an eye their direction, unless they appeared in some danger or showed signs of neglect. If they appear happy and healthy I would say hurrah for her for doing all she can to care for them.
