Crow I am very happy you are not my next door neighbor. WOW.
Why? I'm the kind that helps out, watches my neighbor's property when they are away, and gives the benefit of the doubt. Just because I believe that kids that young are TOO young to be alone doesn't make me a busybody-it makes me concerned for their welfare. I'm getting more and more appalled at the number of people here who are not showing any concern at all for these kids.
From a microwave? Wow, that's a stretch.
Not in the least. Ever over-microwave something or have something heat up very inconsistently?
So? Is other people's health now your concern too? This kind of thinking is where the 32oz soda bans are coming from.
I believe in freedom of choice-I was making a point that nobody seems to care what these kids do. Again, goes back to being more concerned about not meddling than the safety and welfare of the children.
I don't need to be lectured on the slippery slope-I live in Massachusetts, remember? It's just disheartening that the laissez-faire (probably spelled wrong) attitude is more important than children. So what if the authorities are called in-if she's doing nothing wrong than no worries. Isn't that the same thing many of you have said about other issues? Nobody is going to win this argument and I pray nothing happens to these kids-guess I'm more of a "kids first" type of person.
