LED light bulbs and electricity savings question

By the way for me the major savings with LED's is not money, since electricity is paid for at a flat rate as part of the parking fee most of the time, but some of the lamps in my Motor home were frequent flyers on burn out airlines.. The LED's I replaced them with..... Still working well. And someone mentioned heat.

Heat enough to damage the fixture and the ceiling where it is bolted on.

Not so much with the LED's (By many miles).
