I would suggest the original poster may be a lady who is perhaps new to RV'ing and little experience in these matters. Back in the day an experienced Good Sam member or other RV'er in the area would volunteer to stop by and asses the issues, then offer some advice.
Back when we traveled more and I was much healthier, I helped many other folks and asked for, and received help myself once. (Thanks OldUsedBear :))
I know social values have really changed but do we no longer help others? Many years ago I read a good number of posts about someone helping another - not so much these days.
Oh, and I deleted many of the not so friendly posts in this thread!
