Although, I've never researched length restrictions, I have seen the camp hosts with 5th Wheels and MH that were considerably longer than the RV Park/Campground length restriction.
A lot of time the park/campground length restriction has to do more with the narrow roads and tight turns in the campground. The camp host would have the advantage of being able to select an easy to get to site (first site by the entrance road), the largest site, or be able to drive backwards on a loop to get into a site. More flexibility than a normal RVer coming into the cmpground.
