Glendale, a Canadian manufacturer which is now bankrupt, got around it with the Titaniums (the ones with an extended nose that is out over the cab of the truck) by designating the models such as 30E35. Thirty feet from pin to rear bumper; EXTENDED to thirty-five feet overall. Tows and backs like a thirty footer. Lives and sleeps like a thirty-five footer.
