In Texas one is supposed to have a different (not special, so to speak) class of license for driving a motor home or pulling a trailer, but it is not a CDL. License for pulling trailer depends on weight if trailer. May have to take a driving test for all too, not sure., but I know that just a class C isn't what one is supposed to have for an "RV", but an A or B.
