To the OP if you think you need more help driving your rig find someone to teach you.
I have over a million miles driving tractor trailer, currently work as a Fleet Manager. I think I can handle my RAM 1500 with 19'(3500#) trailer in tow.
NO....I am not one of those truckers that thinks you should get a special license just cause I have too.
I really was just interested in finding out how many people here (people who have vast experience driving and answering newbie questions) thought that a permit/licensing process would be beneficial for the safety of ALL OF US.
