It is all about the maintenance. Our Alpenlite, factory dated December 2007 but not titled till May 2009, has done something like 150 nights on the road every year since 2009. It has been to Alaska twice. Almost 14,000 miles RT from MD.It has had an upgrade on springs, going from 6 leaf to a 7 leaf pack. It has had an upgrade in the spring hanger areas making it stronger than factory by a long way. It has indoor storage for 7 months of the year. It gets completely waxed, using the best marine wax to be found, once a year. The roof gets cleaned & treated twice a year.
It is one heavily used but well maintained trailer. The maintenance takes work but it still shows as good as most units only a few years old.
