When your claim is turned down because you happen to tow more miles than owner "B", and the misalignment becomes prevalent, then when the fix is spendy to the owner, they have no choice but to pay it to continue towing. Who's eating that cost??? The owner! Not Lippert. Lots of folks in this boat. Yes, I'm bitter. If you're going to weld the spring hangers on to a spec, it doesn't cost anymore to do it right than to do it wrong. Why not do it right?
You might not have cause to bad-mouth Lippert. I do. I expected a frame that was accurate and durable enough to do the job. Call me crazy. I shouldn't have to spend more money after the sale to have it corrected.
