best way to keep the skeeters at bay is to stay indoors or at least 100 miles away from any nat water source. (that is under 150F).
and yes i love the place so quiet. nobody around. you can do what ever you like as not even the park police go out there.
but you MUST pack all out with you. including the ashes from your fire pit.
