If you are able to plug one in, a fan is great - and provides a breeze! Mosquitos are "weak" flyers, and have great difficulty even in a mild breeze.
That's exactly what I do. I aim the fan in the bedroom so it's blowing not directly on me but just over my head while I sleep.
