Man, I'm quickly developing that understanding. My inlaws are visiting this week and my FIL who was always a very handy person. (He retired and then turned helping neighbors into a full time handyman job in their old subdivision)
He now does not do much. Unsure if it's physical or mental, but I see it and I hate to think of the day when I can't roll my (fill in the blank) into the shop and tear into it, or can't go fix the roof, fence, furnace, etc.
Makes me appreciate it more.
