A Class C or B under 25 feet. I would never attempt to get something much bigger than that and a Class A is out of the question due to the size and upkeep expense. I do realize that a motor home is going to require regular maintenance just like any vehicle does and that regular maintenance will be more expensive than my SUV. Also the upkeep of the various appliances, although if I get an extended service agreement, that covers the appliances in addition to the power train, major expense will be offset somewhat. The only alternative is to use airplanes, hotels, and restaurants when traveling and that can be very expensive if you travel much. I guess it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
This is why we got back into over-the-road RVing (after switching to a boat for a few years) because it just makes going places that much more comfortable than flying/hotels/etc.
We ended up with a Winnebago Class B and I think a true class B removes a lot of potential issues (IMHO)- especially if you do not get a slide that breaks up the integrity of the chassis. Since you are in Florida you have a choice of a number of RV dealerships that do provide good Factory Warranty service. We have the sprinter chassis and I have all of our service done when we are in Florida where there is a dealer. I see you have one in Orlando too.
Having had 2 class A's I find the B to need less attention. Maybe because there are less parts that are not native to the chassis. The one problem we had would have been corrected at delivery if the temperature hadn't been 15 degrees so the fresh water was not in use.
