Care to share any inside shots of your Allegro?
This is the most recent one I have, taken after I replaced the shag with Pergo:
I thought I had a bunch more but apparently do not. I only have them from when I first got it - after it had been sitting in a tow yard for 6 years.
It's a split bath with a rear bedroom that has twin beds. I'd prefer a queen, but this thing just kind of fell in my lap so I couldn't be picky.

- turbojimmyExplorerSo I had ZERO cell signal at the campground so I couldn't post any live pics. I met up with a friend that recently got an 1985 Allegro like my 1984 model (though his is a 27, mine's a 30). When I say this 1985 is like a time capsule I am not exaggerating in any way. It has 25k miles on it and the previous owner kept it in a garage and had binders of documentation starting with the delivery tag that they had stuck in the windshield when he got it the whole way through every single modification he made to it and every time he waxed it, changed the oil, etc. I've never seen anything like it. It really does look brand new.
My '84 looking dull from the rain storm we drove through on the way:
My friend's 85:
Random campground shots: - hbradyExplorerOr last Saturday night of the season at Poland Spring Campground in Maine. Getting ready to cook up Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon seared in a balsamic vinegar and dry red wine glaze. Potatoes / Onions / Garlic roasted on the side and Pumpkin Pie for dessert. Does life really get any better?
- Tacswa3ExplorerGot some brats, peppers and onions soaking in beer roasting over the charcoal. Cold beer in my hand :)
- DutchmenSportExplorerWell, we are not camping this week-end. But we scheduled to take our Outback back to the dealer to get the front cap repainted, and this morning was our appointment to take it to them.
So, I planned a "work-from-home" day. As I am in Information Technology and I have the ability to work from home exactly as if I were in the office, I decided to stay home today.
My "home" office is our upper front living room, which faces East. We live in the country. No neighbors across the road at all. In the evening we close the window curtains.
I powered up my computer about 7:05 AM this morning, then opened the big picture window in front of my desk and saw this! Who says you have to travel great distances to see magnificent things! At 8:15 am we were on the road taking the camper back to the dealer. By then, this was all passed. When I pulled up my driveway, the drive way looked incredibly empty!

Off topic but its nice to see an older MH in such well preserved condition. Looks like it did on the showroom floor.

- turbojimmyExplorerLoading up Dead Metal (my Allegro) for a trip to Promised Land State Park later today. Yes, it's raining. But the weekend weather is supposed to be good.
