agree ! doesnt have to be expensive to solve the problem.
ONLY my wife knows where the hidden key is & what to look for.
a note to all....just remember to put the key back after you've used it.
I just bought (and am now returning) a replacement lock that had a key pad on it....
The key & keypad only operated the deadbolt - there was no handle lock.
personally i would like to be able to OVERRIDE the keypad/dead bolt....if someone were traveling with me i might want to be able to keep them out, even if they had the keypad combination, further at night i would like to be able to over ride the key pad (a handle lock would be enough) to prevent someone from trying to enter.
my point here is - there are electric keypad systems that replace your existing door handle / locks - so you wouldn't have to worry about locking a key inside.
