We look back at photos often. And, usually when I see them I just smile and think about that trip. When my MIL was getting forgetful in her 90s, I picked out 12 of our best pictures with our children on them, a put together a calendar for the new year. That way, she always remembered our kids as she viewed the calendar. It turned out that all of the family members wanted this calendar and has become somewhat of a tradition.
This year, after a summer trip to Alaska, I used Shutterfly to put together a book of favorite pictures with some narrative for the family. It was a huge hit.
