We have as many or more photos, slides and JPEGs as anyone, do we look at them, hardly ever. The JPEGs we do look at on occasion. When we do look, we laugh, smile and on occasion cringe and when we're through we often say it's fun and we've got to do this more often and we never do.
I've got several banker boxes of photographs dating back to the tintype era. None of the family know any of those folks nor do they want to sit and look at them.
Seeing as how I am the oldest living member of my family that is not demented, I hate to dispose of them in the dump but if no one cares?????????
