I was just looking through a photo album with my mom over the weekend. It's a shame that my children won't have the same. We have albums, but they all pre-date the kids. We have some actual photos of our first child, but she was at the very tail end of film photography.

We were just talking about this yesterday. I must have thousands of pictures on the hard drive. That I swore I would download to a CD and label and file, which of course I didn't. :(
I think about everyone's children/family that are going to miss out on looking at an album of their family history and also learning about the history.
I know I 'really' enjoyed looking at my parents albums with real pictures of their parents, them growing up and of course all of us growing up.
I think it's sad that that part will now all be missing. There was even some talk a while back that even if you put it on CD the tech guru's are not even sure how long CD's will last over the course of time. Or if there will be a computer that will read them!.
Just feel that with the onset of technology a lot of history might not ever really be recorded.
