When my mom passed away, I found a large cache of paper photo's had to be in the tens of thousands of pictures of all their rv travels. Dad (passed first) just loved to take pictures of the sights. Other than looking at them when they got back from being developed, they were stored away and never looked at again. They meant nothing to me so out they went. A picture of a rock somewhere in the western part of the USA.... Pictures of some couple they met at the bottom of a hiking trail ... May have met something to them.
I still look through B&W photo albums of family going back to the early 1900's. But pictures of non descript places, not so much. I have determined that B&W pictures last longer and are better. JMO.
