We have towed 3 Mazda Miatas. We towed a 2000 for over 35,000 miles and have towed 2010 and 2012 Retractable Hardtops for almost 20,000 miles.
ONLY the MANUAL transmissions are towable. I have helped nearly 100 other Miata owners to get their cars to be RV towable.
