We haven't bought the Miata yet because we haven't been able to find base plates. None available through Remco or others, so I called the only certified welder in the town closest to us to see if we could get customized equipment, but he doesn't do that kind of work any more, so it's been a struggle. We're making the trip to Denver tomorrow morning to see if we could be happy with a Fiat instead of the Miata (seems like it won't be a 'real' convertible because of the roofline), since Fiat base plates are available. Even with the Fiat we're not sure we can get it done in time; Camping World says no. Living out in the country is great, but is tough to work around sometimes. I don't drive the MH and my husband can't usually get off work. I'm hoping Healeyman will be able to tell us what to do and that we can find someone somewhere to get it done in time.
