Please go back and read the post by wa8yxm, he's talking about contractor grade 3500, which is VERY popular with the RV crowd.
I have to disagree. I own the Champion 3500w contractor-style generator and it's too loud for RVing unless you're boondocking.
I've seen only one or two campers using that generator in a campground, in the 10 years+ that generator has been around. And they were not popular.
It is an inappropriate generator for camping in a campground.
