So, I'm needing to purchase a new water regulator and wanting one with good flow rate.
Amazon shows the following provide "high flow"...
Valterra A01-1122VP Lead-Free High Flow Water Regulator

Valterra A01-1114VP High Flow Stainless Steel Water Regulator

Valterra A01-1117VP Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Regulator

However, a preset 40-50 lbs pressure or an adjustable pressure don't tell the whole story.
Does anyone have any information on how many gallons per minute these regulators will allow and how they compare with other regulators on the market?
Of the ones you show.
The first two: AVOID, they restrict water flow
The third.. MAY be enough.
I just got a new 3/4" Zurin 70XL with garden hose adapters.
Now,,, here is what I have found.
I have an aging Watts 3/4 inch, IN fairness to Watts I do believe it needs to be rebuilt.. But there was some frost damage and I lost a part so I can not really test it...
I have a SUR-FLO,, this is identical to the ones often installed in Motor Homes and trailers as part of the inlet.
I have ones like the first two you have and worse.
When I bought the ZURIN,, I put it to the test, also the Sur-Flo
I hooked it up, 80=100 PSI incoming 50 out, Turned on the outside shower and watched the pressure drop. like 10 PSI.. I think the Watts hit 20 but remember it's old and needs a rebuild kit.
The Zurin.. Needle never wiggled. stuck on 50..
I would recommend going to a PLUMBING supply house and get either a Watts or a Zurin, 3/4 inch (Was cheaper than a half inch) and hose fittings.
