Looking for nice summer RV park/golf course

Any suggestions? We winter in AZ so somewhere Midwest to west would be good. We love to golf and fish and go for motorcycle rides.
  • This is something new a friend showed me. They have tried a few in the south and liked it so far.

    Might work for you.

Thanks for the reply but we are looking to stay one place and buy a membership for golf.
  • How much are you willing to pay, are you looking for a resort or a mom/pop place? Look around Pagosa Springs, Doloras, and Durango in Co, Taos, Angel Fire, or Santa Fe, in NM. You can also look around Ruidoso, NM. For low cost check out the State parks around Las Vegas, Red River and Chama-although I am not sure there is any golf around Chama.

Look around Flagstaff for somewhere close.
  • Try the Benbow RV park in Benbow, Ca. Along the 101 in N. Ca. Nice RV park with an adjacent full length 9 hole public course. Plus a river right across the roadway and some fantastic MC riding. We are originally from Sonoma county and this always a great go to location.
  • Probably not big enough for you, but Challis ID has a golf course with an RV park. Close to some great fishing, I hear!

Too bad you are so far away...golf membership is $500 and the stripe bass go 50 lbs.
  • Little place

We really liked this place that we happened upon when crossing Kansas. The golf course is just across the pond from the RV Park. You do have to drive to the golf course.
  • This place will fit the bill. We stayed a week there and really enjoyed it. I didn't go fishing but I'm sure there is something close plus you just can't beat cycling around the Hill Country.
  • We have been to the "Old Barn Resort" in SE MN a few times. Wonderful place with golf, fishing, and miles of fantastic roads for cruising motorcycles. As well as a great bicycle riding area.

The entire area is as mosquito free as you can get in MN. Very little standing water due to it being in "River country." Truly a beautiful area.
