Agree with what others have posted here. My last GF used to insist it was "improper" for us to share my little Class B for sleeping even though it has twin beds, so I packed a tent that I'd set up for her to use. I'd had enough tent camping as a ScoutMaster and wasn't giving up my comfort for her beliefs. We went on a number of trips and it worked out pretty much OK. I've also traveled with others in RV caravans for some long trips. Not sure I'd like to do either ever again -- both come with their own unique challenges.
Having said that, I'm always willing to try and help someone learn about RVing. But 6-8 weeks is a LONG time no matter what the travel and living arrangements are. I think just about anyone can pick up most of the basics in a few days. After that there's always some RVer around that you can strike up a conversation with and pick their brains.
