Hi ShaunaH,
How much speed do you need?
How much data do you need?
It is quite possible to have reliable internet while traveling, but it may not be inexpensive to do so.
If you are on facebook, look for this group:
Internet for RV'ers It is run by some folks who call themselves "technomadia". Here is a link:

Another issue is power. Campgrounds are not inexpensive so if you plan to camp off the grid, you may need to find a way to generate power inexpensively. One of the better ways to do so is using solar panels. For my further thoughts on this surf here:

Expect to have a good reserve fund for repairs. RV's are complex and do break. Since the RV may become your home, getting it fixed becomes a priority.

I'm based out of Phoenix but can fly anywhere in USA to meet up if needed. Prefer to stay in moderate weather during trip. The only catch is I need reliable internet access Monday to Friday 9-5 for most of trip. I will be buying equipment that provides access in most spots (hopefully) so remote boondocking opportunities might be limited. I also have a non-shedding, 9 pound adult dog that I would prefer to bring with me to make sure he likes the lifestyle too. Not a requirement though.
