What do I mean? Well 8 mph is pretty much what you may get for a class C.
So if you go 240 miles it costs for 30 gallons of fuel. But you may have to travel four times that distance and burn 120 gallons of fuel. Then as summer arrives--you get to buy another 120 gallons to follow the seasons. Currently I'm in Florida so it would cost about $283 each way.
What style of life do you expect? RV parks are often $30 per night. Myself, I tend to avoid them, except when I can't find a place to dump or to refill the fresh water tanks.

I've budgeted $800/month for park rental (avg of $26 a night), and figure I'll boondock at least a few nights a month. Also budgeted $400 in fuel...does that sound reasonable to chase the weather?
