Go for it….. I’ve been towing a Chevy Suburban for the past 7 years without any issues. All of my towing equipment is Blue Ox and rated for 10k pounds including the drop hitch to make everything level. I’ve never towed anything lighter so I don’t have any advice on the weight difference. I always use my exhaust brake to slow down and I maintain a safe driving distance from the vehicle in front of me. I have a 40 foot, 05’ Holiday Ramble Endeavor with a 400 ISL Cummins.
