Along with "goducks10" - same thoughts - there *are* other choices!
Hotel, motel, B & B, cruises, vacation home/cabin at mtns a lake or river, - couch potato or rocking chair on the front porch.
Drive the remote!..:)
A guy I know spent a lot of years in the same profession as I did. Due to work schedule, easy to be frequently gone in the RV during that career - with lots of "like minded" folks.
(I had every third week off -actually 8 days- along with 35 other F/Fs!)
No RVs for him anymore. He and his wife are dedicated "cruisers".
Probably more "been there, done that" info on cruises than a travel agent!
Old and decrepit?
They both walk/jog several miles every day when they're not on a cruise.
Whatever rings the "owner's" chimes!..:C
