Love camping...eliminates cacklers!

spent a St. Patrick's day in a hotel in Dublin. room was over a ball room with what looked like a tin roof. after a while the windows started vibrating and the tin roof amplified the riot going on.
called the desk and they said they were going to shut er down at some ungodly hour.
spent a night in San Francisco in a room overlooking an alley. the USC or whoever the trojans are band was staying there and they decided to practice in the alley in the middle of the night.
I would have enjoyed having it being somebody cackling.

From my own experience, at least one (anonymous) man also occasionally "screams like a girl", or at least did the time he ran face first into a hangin' yellowjackets nest while cutting the grass out front...and also the time he encountered a rat in the bathroom of our newly remodeled house. ;)

Truth be told I've heard both sets of onomatopoeias from both genders...usually at a really boisterous gathering.

I rarely pay attention to what others do

Have spent most of my life traveling for work and too many hotel rooms to count. Learned my lesson years ago in Los Angeles. I had a stop over for the night. The noise outside was tremendous. I couldn't sleep and there were no rooms to move to. In the morning I discovered the problem. The window behind the curtain was cracked about three inches. Who knew and why would the window be open?

Since then, the first thing I check is to see if the maid closed the window.

I just try to annoy people, silently and deadly.

The only thing that bothers me in hotels are door slammers. Why do they have to slam the door?

Got a good friend who is both a cackler and snorter. Add a little alcohol in and she really gets obnoxious after a while.

As did my tough guy military son when a random raccoon sniffed his backside through a hammock! Why do I never have my video camera ready when I need it?
