A bit out of the way, but a very scenic route. Will definitely be a lot less city traffic if you don't have to fight the DC and Baltimore mess. I-81 has a bunch of rolling hills, but definitely nothing that should give your rig any grief. Lot of caverns and caves along the I-81 route if you have time and are so inclined.
