LT Tire Longevity on TT?

My 2013 TT came with LT tires which I really like having on the trailer. My question is how many years are you guys comfortable going with LT tires? They are always covered when not being towed and the tires have about 15,000 miles on them. No signs of wear at all, just contemplating making a change.

  • 3 years! come on guys, even for ST tires that is a bit much not to mention a waste! I go 5 years, 6 years if they haven't seen many miles. and LT`s I would go 7 years.

I just finished a 4k mile round trip to Yellowstone and Colorado this summer on 5 year old tires. So next year the 15k mile tires will get replaced.

Ditto on the 3 years. No matter what they are changed. To many blow outs over the years to finally figure this out, and the damage they cause when they blow.

  • 6 to seven years is aboit a normal life for any tires. You might push it, but why?
