Made it 10 years without this happening
Yep. The ghost of happy camping reared its ugly head at me while dumping the black tank. I pulled the blade valve and while the family history was flowing into the sewer, the hose came off at the coupling and began spilling onto the ground. I quickly closed the valve but the damage was done. I moved the MH forward, got the hose and began flooding the waste into the recessed funnel in the concrete where the dump hose goes.
The hose clamp just was not tight enough and it came off from the weight and force of the material. Now I'm looking to replace the coupling/hose with another type not of the same design. Perhaps a hose with the coupling all one piece. Any help would be appreciated.
