Don't know where I'm going to be or when, they scan and email it. Where ever I'm at i just check my computer to see my mail and print it out if I want to keep it. - sch911ExplorerIf it's important enough to need to be scanned it should be converted to an online account if possible. The only snail mail we get are advertisements...

I want to keep my residence in NM. registering all my vehicles, Harley, Quad, RV,
Pick up, CCW permit. But most important Elk Hunting. - PawPaw_n_GramExplorerI don't know of any service which will scan and e-mail you something that was received at your mailing service.
Escapees will open and read mail to you over the phone, but will only forward the actual letter/ document.
There are UPS stores in NM which do mail forwarding. One reason we went with Escapees vice a local UPS store was personnel. Escapees is going to stress customer privacy and personal accountability to their employees.
UPS stores are individual franchisee's - so the quality can vary. When the owner made a surprise visit on one UPS store in our former home area, he found several thousand pieces of mail that had not been placed in customer boxes over a couple months because the clerks were 'too busy'. Not saying it will happen, but it can.
I have met a couple hundred people who full-time/ near-full-time over the past year who do not use a mail service. They keep their residences in their home states for many valid reasons - hunting being one.
They usually have a friend or relative handle mail forwarding.
From you list - I have to ask - are you going to sell your home? Are you not going to have a physical presence in your current home area, including storage, etc? If you don't break that tie, you can use a mail forwarding service in another state for a mailing address, but keep your domicile in NM with minimal official only mail going to that address. - DtankExplorer

Agree with the above.
You *might* find one of the local mail service stores which are "convenient" alternatives to the USPS - that would consider doing that......for (IMO) a *VERY* exorbitant fee.
Maybe a retired relative or trusted friend in NM who might like to make a few bucks providing you the service.
Have your mail forwarded to his/her address.
Good luck with "Mission Impossible".
. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIThere are several mail forwarding services that offer mail scanning, but none that I know of in New Mexico. The Escapees mail service will be adding that capability soon. There are ways to use an out of state mail service without changing your domicile registrations, licenses, voting, etc., but I'm not familiar with the details. The Texas based Escapees offers that for folks domiciled in Florida.
- Semperfi_66ExplorerI found a local bookkeeper that provides that service. They scan and email
the envelopes to you. You have three choices, either discard and shred, open scan and email or foreward. thanks for the replies.
