Making your own Bug Net

I have a slant leg pop up canopy. With our PUP's slide the slant leg is all I have room for on the floor of the camper in travel mode.

Has anyone made their own bug netting? It doesn't look like it would be very difficult. Just curious if anyone has made their own before.

Thanks!

Jeremiah

  • Mosquito netting is under $20. I picked a bunch up at a garage sale for $1.
  • You can buy screen kits for canopy's cheaper than you can buy the screening. I just spent the last few days looking on line for them.

The screen kit does not have to be the same brand name as your canopy.

I read the remarks on all of them and found quite a few from RV'ers which gave me the info I needed to screen in my canopy.

Google Shelter Logic and Wenzel canopy's and then search for screen kit.
These seem to be the 2 brands of screen kit that are the easiest to modify for any canopy.

Dicks, Gander Mountain, big box sport stores have a plethora of screen kits in stock.
