You have some valid points but the manufacturer has to share in the blame.
Ever see a production line of trailers?
The workers are on such a tight schedule that they are actually running to complete their jobs. They are not running because they choose to. They are doing it because of quotas set by management.
Good quality does not arise when the workers are in that much of a rush.
