Another valid point. All children today are pushed towards college. Not all of them are college material. That doesn't mean they are not smart enough, but they don't do well in a college environment.
It took me two years of college, and my parents money, to realize, it wasn't for me. I choose a service business that was not glamorous, worked hard at it, and did very well over the years. My son is now second generation in the field.
We need more apprentice programs and trade schools. We do not need more for profit work training centers.
