We personally know of two couples who recently retired and were seriously considering RVing as part of their retirement plans. Each had previously owned RVs periodically.
Both have decided to bag the idea of RV travel in retirement and their reasons are very similar. They just don't want to deal with the common repair issues and accompanying costs tied to Rving. At a certain point, manufacturers are cutting their own throats.
