Spot on 2012Coleman. But even the original pictures showed the tack welds from the manufacturer, not a first, second or third owner. Mello Mike has explained (maybe here, but at least elsewhere) the AF problems occurred on 2005 models and earlier. My thought is why was it accepted practice back then?
The original post pictures to this thread were a jumping off point to what is evidently a big concern to a lot of people. I would have never gone to such depths of research on a truck camper - which led me to those pictures - had I not been just coming off a bad break-up with a brand new 2013 Komfort Travel Trailer. I thought I did my research on it and then, a number of build quality issues smacked me in the face when we got off the honeymoon, including three pinched and/or intermittent shorted 12V lines.
I got some surprising actions from the Colorado dealer on original purchase, which after further reflection screamed "sell at all costs, but get them out the door having signed on the bottom line". Then in my smaller Wyoming town I had to deal with negativity from the warranty repairing dealer (the better of the two available in town).
