I've been reading and searching the forums for all the brands that we are/were interested in. The thing that surprised me the most is the repeated comment to expect to take your rv back for repairs, possibly before you ever use it. This is repeated over and over and seems acceptable to people. If I bought a truck for 80K and had to take it back to the dealer like that I'd be furious. I realize that this needs to be kept in perspective though; 9 million RV'rs or something is a lot and only seeing hundreds of post about problems is a drop in that bucket. However reading about frames cracking, welds breaking and propane leaking are concerning those aren't little things. Also seeing certain brands mentioned over and over in a negative light sends up a warning flag. This is tough navigating for a couple of newbies!
