Try looking at the Open Range floorplans. They are still a stand alone company even though bought by Jayco. I had been to the factory before and after I bought ours. The folks were quite friendly and very obliging. We bought our 2009 in May of '08 and have been happy with it. Good luck in your search and Happy Camping.
They are on our short list for sure. Along with Lifestyles, Grand Design, Evergreen. I've been working on narrowing it down by weight, size and what reviews I can find online. Seeing the post about Lippert made me shake my head when I realized that just about all of the RV manufactures are working with Lippert. What a tight little community ;)
