As a camp host that likes to return to an area, year after year, I respectfully disagree.
If the host is claiming "ownership" or acting out of bounds in any way, that is a management problem that should be handled by management, not by an arbitrary rule.
Yes, I have seen others act this way at some of our assignments, and if it is not corrected by management, we do not return to that particular campground.
We are not going to change how the campground is managed or if there is a lot of politics involved, nor do we care to. We just go somewhere else. There are lots of openings where these conditions do not exist.
