If you are talking about a state or federal park they are not employers, there is no w9 or w2 no income reported. IMHO these were meant to be volunteer positions not permanent residence. Normally people doing this spend 2-6 months at a park then move on . In doing so other volunteers can enjoy the park. We do this to help the park and enjoy the area not to be a resident. When the time comes that we get off the road we will buy a stick house and reside in that area. But that's just us.

Park rangers working for the state. There is no employment involved all park host are volunteers. If anyone wants to set up and stay in one place they should be a workamper and work for a private park. This as always is IMHO.
