I'd just like to state the obvious: Factory RV mattresses are really, really, bad.

I guess we were lucky. Our first RV was new and had a comfortable mattress. The current RV we bought used and have no idea if it is the original, but it is comfortable. If I were to change it I would get a Sleep Number bed. We still sleep on a water bed at home.
