Hi all, I wanted to post an experience I had with Maxxis M8008 trailer tires. This is my first post here, so I hope this is the right forum for trailer tire issues, and I hope this is not too long...

Larry I agree there may have been abuse/ misuse involved nevertheless an LT tire does not have to be cared for in such a careful precise manor.
The LT tire does have ratings and limitations however the tires are not so marginally built that exceeding a rating causes a catastrophic failure.
Most users do not baby their tires in the way an ST tire requires.
Unfortunately they just get in and expect the ST tire to perform the way other vehicle tires perform.However ST tires are not built to carry passengers and perform marginally/terribly unless extra care is given.
Even with additional precautions an ST tire may fail because they are built to meet an inferior quality standard
